Case Study 1
THE CHALLENGE
Swiss watchmaking is one of the most difficult industries in the world to cover well. The craft is centuries deep, the brands are fiercely protective of their narratives, and the audience — collectors, connoisseurs, and high-net-worth buyers — knows immediately when a writer doesn't understand what they're looking at. Breaking through as a credible editorial voice in this world requires access, relationships, genuine expertise, and the rare ability to translate extraordinary artisanal complexity into prose a global audience actually wants to read. It also requires showing up — on the floor at Baselworld, in the manufacture, in the room where the CEOs give their only interview of the fair.
THE WORK
Over several years covering the Swiss watch industry from Basel, I built a body of work spanning three of the industry's most respected English-language platforms — as a writer, editor, and on-camera host at the world's most important watch fairs.
THE OUTCOME
A body of work — more than 100 articles, 150+ executive interviews, video features, and live conference coverage from Baselworld and Watches & Wonders — that established a credible, senior editorial voice in luxury watch media and drove measurable audience growth for every platform it appeared on.

In Their Words
"Nola is a creator. She developed and implemented new events and marketing ideas consistently. All of the professional success aside, Nola's greatest asset is her character — she attacks everything with a great attitude and enthusiasm that is contagious."
